Background

Who are the founders?

The Founders of “Are Your Kultured” are four couples and friends from Maryland: Tony and Shay Awojoodu, Ebo and Stacy Biney, Julian and Nikki Davis, Dapo and Olaide Akingbade.

Where did the idea come from?

The idea originated after the founding team had a weekend-long couples’ trip where the founders shared fellowship including playing a variety of board games. While playing one game in particular, Taboo - which is a word guessing game, the couples realized that the popular American game was aligned with American culture and asked “Why doesn’t an African version of Taboo exist?”. The founders quickly realized how much fun it would be to put a twist on the popular game, “for the Kulture.” This led to the creation of this game: “Are You Kultured?” and the broader movement that will follow.

This game is meant to be played by individuals 17 and older.

Can I cancel my order?

We are unable to change or cancel orders once they have been placed.
